There was a question on a social site .Why do you play video games

I tell you why .
Work Relationships - Failed
Friendships - Failed .
Relationships - Failed
I done my best with all of these and still Failed .
With that thinking you'd personalize it and be thinking there's something wrong with me but there wasn't.
I'm playing video games since my teenage years .
I'm 44 now . I'm single . Even If I wasn't single I be still playing video games . I was told in a rehab centre to stop playing video games cause I'd have no life outside of that but having no video games I'd have a life .
I'm collecting video games years .
Relationships advise from me and I only knew this since became single . What would advance your relationship life I'd recommend playing video games with each other . I'd guarantee it would take away a lot of the moaning that goes with relationships . 100% fact I reckon

I'm a gamer for many reasons.

One of which, is a form of escapism in the same way as one might read a book or watch a movie.

Another is that for me, personally, gaming is something of a meditative experience, in that once I start playing a video game, I'm "in the zone," so to speak.

A third reason is that it's an exercise in hand/eye mind/body co-ordination.

@Sidewinder it's actually therapeutic. You go into a state of autohypnosis.
