What is your favorite video game series, and why??

My profile pic probably makes mine obvious...it's a pretty complex series in terms of following all the games, but it's the wholesomeness, Disney characters, and banging music that seals it for me!

Once upon a time I would have said Final Fantasy. But the new games went too action rpg for me and I don't like them as much. I miss the older turn based games. I can't think of another series that would stand out as a favorite though. Most everything else is more like individual entries

@OhHelena my absolute favorite is final fantasy tactics. I exceptionally enjoyed VII through X-2. The ones before 7 were still good but I've only played bits and pieces of them. 12 started losing me. 13 and after were just not my thing anymore.
