PlayStation 5 pro

Omg did u guy's hear the system will cost over $700 dollars and it won't come with a disk drive. U have to buy that separate. Also it won't come with a stand. I wonder if the system will be hard to get like the original PlayStation 5.

The issue here is (and I know first hand) games may run and look a bit better on the Pro, but they will never fully utilise the power of the console, because they will need to be optimised to run on the standard console. So buying this lump of a console is a waste of money. Especially as they make you buy everything else to go with it.

@Mikeawesome1986 I know what u mean. Look at the Nintendo switch they have brought out like two new versions of it. One is a all digital and the other is OLED screen. But I'm like I love the original just fine. I don't need a digital version or a OLED screen. I hook it up to a 4k tv

@smileylovesgaming The PS5 has been a failure of a console.

It's under sold, its struggled with games (definitely when it launched). It had a lot of supply problems when it came out. The lack of supported couch co-op games have hurt it, the flopped VR headset (for the second time) and then the silly tiered knock-off Game Pass hurt it too. This is a cry for help to make the console feel powerful, something to hold up and brag that it has more power than the Xbox (MS have basically said they're giving up on consoles now, hence making a bunch of Xbox games available on PS5 now).

@Mikeawesome1986 I remember it took 2 or 3 year's for the system to be in stores. I wonder if that will happen again

@smileylovesgaming I don't see it happening again. That was down to Covid causing massive delays with the warehouses. Xbox and Nintendo also suffered from it, but in fairness to Xbox, MS got their act together quicker and Nintendo already had their console out.
