I wish I had someone to play Diablo with

@KiwiDan I don't think it works that way. But if there's a way, I'm down to play multiplayer.

I just dug through an old box of junk and found the original game case and discs so I can install it on my laptop. I'm thinking of playing for an hour tonight. I want to make an assassin build.

@shakemeup I don't think it does either. But I can't access battle.net because my game's CD key has already been used for it. So maybe there isn't a way to play short of me buying the game new again 😞

I've never played assassin. Please let me know how you find it.

@KiwiDan my case doesn't even have the sticker with the cd key on it anymore. Who the heck decided a sticker was a good idea back then? 🤣 I'd have to rebuy it as well. I might do so. I'll have to look up what the price is. I forgot how fun this game is. I needed a game where I can just slay monsters today.

Oh assassin is great. It's everything I remember so far.
It's tricky at the beginning and you feel weak as a kitten and you die alot....and you're constantly guerilla fighting EVERYTHING but later on, I remember I used to put a lot into lightning traps and powering up melee and having leech life and poison runes and stones and it felt pretty badass to zap everything and then run around in circles to mop up whatever enemies were still alive.

I was tempted to try druid, barbarian or necromancer since I've never tried those but nostalgia won out. :)

@shakemeup well I'll rebuy it if you do. I think it worked out to be like NZ$40 or something for both the base game and expansion, but I'm not sure if they have a sale on battle.net right now.

That sounds pretty cool! I like playing barbarian or necromancer because I like hitting things or having minions hit things.

@KiwiDan I was just looking at battle.net. it looks like 40 (American dollars) for the game. Hmm... 🤔You're probably about 3/4 of a day ahead of me. I'm CDT time zone in America. Going to be tricky to coordinate schedules to play at the same time. I have no idea how busy you are or what kind of schedule you have. Would be good to figure out the details before spending the money, right? It would suck for both of us to rebuy it and then realize it's really hard to coordinate. Lol

What time and what days do you usually game at?

@shakemeup I'm usually playing on a Tuesday, or Monday, Wednesday, or Friday at night (Tuesday being my day off)

@shakemeup what if we play for like an hour diring the day on a Tuesday? I don't know what your schedule or timezone is, but if it's diring the day for me it should be evening for you?

@KiwiDan 🤔 Hmm that could possibly work. It would be a monday for me. My Mondays are packed full from 5 a.m.at work until 8 p.m...but I do generally get home by 8:30 p.m. so it's doable to play. I think that would be closer to 2:30 p.m for you if I'm doing the math right. Does that work at all for you? If not it's ok. I could potentially stay up very late Thursdays sometimes too and just make a lot of coffee to drink at work the next day. Being a little extra tired on a Friday isn't so bad.
