I started playing Diablo 2 again

I have a character who is pretty much at the end of the base game but the difficulty is such that, even on the easiest difficulty, I always die to swarms of monsters before I can get anywhere close to fighting Diablo. I know it's doable because I beat the game once years ago, but I 'm just not very good because it gets overwhelming and I get frustrated and then bored having to do the same area over and over again just to die to the same enemies. It becomes super unfun because I'm someone who just wants to see new areas and experience the story, instead of having to constantly grind like this game seems to expect me to.

Maybe I should just find an online build that's as OP as possible, and play to that so I can actually have fun instead of getting frustrated.

I've only ever beaten it as a sorceress. I recommend that build. Found it difficult as anything else. There are probably cheat codes out there. Idk. I often use cheat codes on games because I hate "grinding" in games and achievements mean nothing to me. I like the story best.

@shakemeup sorceress was always rather difficult to play for me because my play style is tanking lol. I've looked for cheat codes but couldn't get any of them to work.
@KiwiDan sorry the cheat codes didn't work out.

@shakemeup it's fine. I ended up starting again as a necromancer
@KiwiDan Good luck this time! I remember really liking Diablo 2 and Diablo 3. I remember the cinematic cutscenes were badass back in the day. I wish you much success....especially in the jungle. I always struggled at that section. Lol.

@shakemeup lol thanks. The cinematics are still great even now! The jungle is where I'm currently up to, and so far my army of skeletons has just been wrecking everything
@KiwiDan they are! I just went on YouTube to play the cutscenes from Diablo 2. It was always a huge reward to beat each act and hear the story continue. I love the voice of whoever narrated it. I always feel like I'm listening to an epic Greek tale or something.
