I Love Old School Video Games

2D Sonic 1, 2, 3 and Knuckles are still my favourites.

Sadly, I missed out on those and have never caught up. Computer games have passed me by.

@oneofnine Pong was in your time. The tennis game.

@Gumba1000: Sadly I missed even that. My brothers were ahead of me on computer games. I remember them playing, plugged into the old television set. Everything was very slow. ‘Time passes’ became a family joke because it appeared on the screen so often and seemed to be the slowest thing of all. Thank you for your reply.

@oneofnine I used to have a Commador 64 back in 1991 and you put a tape in and it had to 'load' games. Loading time for some games was ten minutes! Far too long for a child.

@Gumba1000 Yes. Things are so much faster now, and people still want increased speed.

@oneofnine I'd do anything to slow it all down. The world is too fast for me.

@Gumba1000 And for me. I need a rest from it all.

@oneofnine Holidays coming up?

@Gumba1000 Not for a while yet. Good Friday and Easter Monday perhaps.
