Is a 680 credit score good enough to buy a somewhat newer truck?

Also, after i buy it, I'm changing jobs. Should I let them know that? ( the place I would buy the vehicle from)

Should be good enough. Just do a lot of research on any make or model your thinking of buying. Some horribly unreliable trucks out there on the market and unbelievably expensive to repair. Do not buy any Ford 5.4 liter 3 valve engine!
