I Like Trains

I am a girl and I love trains! I grew up on the railway. My Dadcu (Welsh for grandfather) was a stationmaster. I went to work with him in the holidays. The line was a coal line. The drivers really spoiled me! Did you know that the first ever train spotter in tbe world was a girl. She lived near Swindon in the 1850’s. She recorded the numbers of the engines.
