No one claps when the train arrives at its destination.
I don't clap when the cab driver gets me to my destination.
Not seen/heard anyone clap when the ship successfully docks at its destination.
So not quite sure why anyone claps when the plane lands.
And if they do, why are those clapping aircraft passengers so ungrateful that they don't clap in so many other situations where someone has truly done something spectacular!
