Anybody ride a Vespa? [I Ride a Scooter]

I have one! A 125cc red Vespa Primavera. Love it. 🛵

I have to tell this story about my older brother.

I went to visit him while he was preparing to move.
I hadn't seen him in awhile and saw he had a Vespa in his garage.

Me: Oh wow you got a Vespa.
Him: Oh man I love it. Watch this.

He fired it up. Warmed up for a short bit and took off down his street as fast as he could.

Well, I'm not sure what his plan was, but I'm sure his plans changed when he went to spin the backend around at full speed and hit a patch of gravel at the same time. It slid out from under him about 20 feet away.

He jumped up, got back on it and rode to where I was watching from.

Me: WOW COOL!!!
Him:Shut up!

I've seen some. They look good. Tbh I think they're best suited for women and for short rides in the city.

Yes I have a LX150 plus several motorcycles.

Not personally, although over here being the country of origin they're quite common. Those tiny wheels scare me 😣

I rode one occasionally in my late teens and early twenties. It was 150 cc and belonged to a neighbor.

Rented one, one time while sight seeing a tourist route.. pretty neat scooters

Italians are masters of art and style. But they don’t always master engines. Vespas are cute, but like the Fiat you might have to say, “Fix it again Tony” more often than you’d like

Not for many many years.
