My friend told me to stop going to the dealership to get my oil changed

So I went somewhere else, and I was stuck in my car with a 22 year old mechanic hitting on me for 50 minutes, leaning into my car and showing me his phone. Never again.
He did show me how to check my oil and an air filter, so that was nice I guess.

The dealerships charge you the most money. Sure a 1 to 5 year old car for major issues, dealership.

I've never had a brand new car, and don't want one. Give me a 2000 with new engine, new tranny and I'm set to go.

The reason why cars are being made now the way they are is so they can make sure you go to the dealerships and not Bob's Garage, where the dealership charges 150 for an oil change vs Bob's Garage charging 40.
