You can't make this shit up!

I was at a red light, trying to grab my new water bottle on the passenger side, that was lodged between the seat and door. I grab it finally and flip it upwards as it was upside down..only to see THEN that the top had flipped open and nearly ALL my water came flying out in a giant splash at my console!! My AC was on so I immediately shut it and then the light turned green. Oh GOD what a nightmare Lol. I don't think it got near the ignition, but I wiped up all the water near the gear stick and the console. Then I had to go buy a drink b/c all of the water was gone. Whoever was sitting next to me at the light must have gotten a BIG Chuckle and thought WOW..... 😫

Lol, look at the positive... That person next to you was likely having a bad day and you brought some humor and laughter to her day. Plus, it was only water and your car is made to get wet so there should be no damage. All good! 🫂

@sarabee1995 I thought something would surely short circuit due to so much water but all ok🙂

@Coralmist Yeah, car interiors are mostly made to handle water. Like some else said, juice or soda would've been much worse.

I've had my Crosstrek out on the beach in Barnstable splashing through the water's edge and it got soaked inside and out. That was, of course, salt water so much worse, but still no problems.
