Stranger Danger

If you were driving down a country highway, no traffic nor people , no cell phone and you came across a severely injured person in the road, what would you do? Would you go to him/her? or drive off to make a call? Just curious.

I think we've all heard horror stories where motorists stop and they themselves become victims of robbery or worse.
I think i'd be inclined to hit the tripometer to get an accurate mileage of where they were and drive to the nearest safe place and report it to police
