GOOD NEW, BAD NEWS

went grocery shopping with Katie this morning only to realize I needed gas. pulled up to the pump and couldn't figure out how to open the gas cap filler. thank God Alan answered his phone and was able to talk us through the process. first time ever pumping my own gas never want to go through this again. GOOD News. with my loyalty rewards only paid $3.50 a gallon to fill up. only $50 dollars to fill the tank. the Mercedes dealer charges a lot more when they fill it

Now that you know how to fill your tank, teach your child. It's a basic thing all who drive should know.
How about air in tires, checking the oil and other simple things?

I can't stand the gas prices, but glad you saved some cash.
@SW-User the dealer takes care of the "simple" things. that's what they're paid to do

@saragoodtimes Wasn't there supposed to be a lesson learned in this? I guess not.

I'm still in shock, can you imagine removing and replacing the flat tire? Oh the horror! 🤪

Well woop de do, you must be under five feet tall for it to be so much trouble. How small are you anyway?
@PatKirby what does height have to do with pumping gas.

@PatKirby I'm not trying to pick at anyone. I just find it hard to believe some people don't want to teach children simple things to help themselves. I have had to tell others how to jump start cars and change tires. I believe we all could do with knowing the basics about the vehicles we drive. There's plenty I can't do and pay for, but also like being able to help myself when I can.
