It cracks me up when people blame the potus for gas prices. Worldwide gas prices. Check who benefits from these high prices. Who'd of guessed it would be...dun dunduuunnn...the oil companies😯
@Carla it’s even more hilarious to watch you deny it . When Trump turns the oil back on, puts people back to work , and starts exporting again , $1.79 gas will magically appear
@MarmeeMarch Anyone who starts a position with "All I know is.." should learn a lot more. The world is a complex place and Hydrocarbons are a finite resource and too valuable to waste burning in cars and trucks. The price is going up no matter what. Putin, Trump Biden, a the EU are all pawns in this game. Roll on the hydrogen fuel cell.😷
@MarmeeMarch Then let me enlighten you at at least the Sesame Street level. Water plus electicity Z(from solar panels) equals Hydrogen . Stor it under pressure. Put it in a car via a pump. (they do that now with LP gas) and then burn it (wasteful) or use it to create electricity in a hydrogen fuel cell, which is quite efficient. The resulting exhaust either way is "water"😷
@MarmeeMarch Honda had fuel cell powered accords out in the US some years ago. It workd fine. Just needs the gas station network and ramped up production https://automobiles.honda.com/clarity-fuel-cell
@MarmeeMarch Because the cost of producing Hydrogen is greater than the cost of gasoline. (or it was) and because when approached, the oil companies were not interested in allowing Hydrogen to be sold out of their stations. It will be like the electirc charge points. It will take a while.. However. It will happen because its renewable, non poluting and in time will be cost effective. And you can fill your car in the same time it takes to fill with gasoline and get the same range. There are other spin off advantages in weight and recycling . But we dont need to go there. As you can see honda are ready. the battery cars are a stopgap until the pricing and network are there.😷
