$4.50 a gallon

And Dems are supposed to be the party of the working class? Of course I understand it’s all Oranges fault but..

It cracks me up when people blame the potus for gas prices. Worldwide gas prices.
Check who benefits from these high prices.
Who'd of guessed it would be...dun dunduuunnn...the oil companies😯

@MarmeeMarch Honda had fuel cell powered accords out in the US some years ago. It workd fine. Just needs the gas station network and ramped up production

@MarmeeMarch Because the cost of producing Hydrogen is greater than the cost of gasoline. (or it was) and because when approached, the oil companies were not interested in allowing Hydrogen to be sold out of their stations. It will be like the electirc charge points. It will take a while.. However. It will happen because its renewable, non poluting and in time will be cost effective. And you can fill your car in the same time it takes to fill with gasoline and get the same range. There are other spin off advantages in weight and recycling . But we dont need to go there. As you can see honda are ready. the battery cars are a stopgap until the pricing and network are there.😷

Gasoline is a commodity like any other.
It does not always have to do with the fact that your "political hero" is not in power.
chrisCA · M
@jackson55 Not mine. I don't make heroes, or cult icons about our political leaders.
I vote, but that is it.

@chrisCA If Trump was elected again then our gas would be 99 cents a gallon. 🙄
ViciDraco · 36-40, M
Neither Dems nor Orange have that much control over gas prices. Their most powerful switch is releasing from the strategic reserve.

Permits for new drilling lands are not impacting gas prices that much. That already have plenty of unexercised existing permits.

Oil is a global commodity priced at a global level. Pretty much every other nation is seeing the same rise in fuel prices.

People keep associating has prices with presidents. It's rather strange. If gas dropped to $2/gallon over the course of the next year it would be extremely unlikely to be Biden's doing.
Budwick · 70-79, M
@ViciDraco Joe Biden told a questioner during a campaign event, “I guarantee you we're going to end fossil fuels,” in New Castle, N.H. on 9/6/19.
AthrillatheHunt · 51-55, M
@Budwick they told the same thing to Joe Manchins constituents many many times .
Then they wonder why he blocked JoeBs build back better .

Hmm,,, well the Dems aren't ? They love the "working class".... they burden them with overpriced gas, heavy food taxes and super inflation..... they put a President in office that can't remember shit,,,,,and now they are worried about getting re-elected..... they want YOUR vote again.....hmmm... WTF!!
Human1000 · M
@heavyone2 Wow, did Fox do a number on you.

Are you proud to be an American, where at least you know you’re free?

Are fresh vegetables part of the Obama Marxist plan to turn your children homosexual?
heavyone2 · 61-69, M
@Human1000 I don't watch fox bullshit news....lol. I just know what I see in the wallet after I try to fill my car's tank and my belly.... I know I am not able to buy beef nor much else right now!

They keep drudging up ideas for alternate fuel but no matter what it is not going to be cheap to drive.
AthrillatheHunt · 51-55, M
@CestManan it’s a super complex situation indeed .
jackson55 · M
You must have missed it ? They said it’s all Putins fault.
MarineBob · 56-60, M
When I raised my prices last month most of the competition vowed to maintain last years prices,as they're expecting a drastic decrease in fuel prices
LunarOrbit · 56-60, M
