With the slightest blip in the supply chain, prices soar .... and they take a long time to come back down ... what's up with that ??

@AllAboutLaffs I think it's price gouging. There's a gas station about 3 minutes from me and their gas for a while was like $0.30 more than all the other gas stations in town. Because whatever they're doing down there, they are definitely price gouging.
All these other places, I have no clue why gas is still so high. Back in May gas was $2.96 a gallon, now it's at $3.15. the receipt shows $3.12 because I used my card at the pump gives you 3 cents off a gallon.

Yes, up up up, the administration hates itself and what it's done to U.S. but has no clue how to properly correct the course.

@walabby The problem is that prices would fluctuate around $2.59 on the low end to about $2.89 on the high end. Then the lockdowns hit and gas dropped to about $2.20 here locally. When people got back on the roads, gas went back up to $2.60 - $2.70.
Then that pipeline thing went down, and in late May 2021, gas was at $2.96 locally. For the last month now gas has been at $3.19 on the high end to $3.14 on the low end. The pipeline thing from what others have wrote on here is that it's fixed now.
But the price of gas is still where it was. I'm just leading to believe it's price gouging.

I love how no one wants to complain that biden has raised the price of gas all you hear is excuses for why they were so high under Obama they give credit to Obama for why they were so low under Trump and probably blame Trump for why they’ve been so high under biden. For the last two years though I’ve been saying I a Democrat in office so prices would go up and my touristy town would get less busy and crowded

It won't come down anytime soon. The July 4th holiday travel season is just around the corner and it will stay up until after that.

We are paying almost that much for a litre!

It's not expensive, so much as back to normal.

That's about half the price of gas in Europe.
