If it doesnt realise the amount you owe on the contract, you will be pursued by either the finance company or a debt collector on their behalf. If the car is in the 3 to 4 year age range its quite possible it will depreciate faster than the loan will drop. Be prepared for that. Also you are going to have difficulty requalifying for finance of any kind for a replacement vehicle. So start thinking about alternative arrangements.. And dont do anything silly like damaging the car as an act of bad temper. Thats only going to cost you more in the end..😷
