When I did my driving test, the things they looked for was to make sure you stop behind the stop line, do not pull out in front of traffic, don't run Yellow lights, stay in your lane, always accentuate the head turn when shoulder checking (so they see it), be sure you always signal. Signal too much, be overly cautious. They give demerit points for anything they see.
Where I did my test they purposely found a road that had an obscured stop sign.
It would be in your best interest to follow someone else doing the road test to see where they go. Then you can practice it a few times to gain confidence.
