I was coming home from shopping today and had to stop for a drunk driver.
He missed his turn, so he backed up and backed down into a ditch, then pulled back out, turned around, then drove frontwards into the same deep ditch and rolled over!

At one point, the guy almost hit my car as he turned around on the road in front of me and I really don't know how he missed my left front corner... but he did! Then he was now 45 degrees to the road but instead of straightening out and heading in the opposite direction to what I was going, he simply drove straight ahead and drove right over the edge of the embankment at a 45 degree approach angle, at which point the left rear wheel of his truck came right off the ground as the truck went down the embankment with only 3 wheels on the ground!
I feel badly now for bursting out laughing when it was happening because it was way too surreal as it appeared to be happening in slow motion!

What also came out of it was that the power steering in his pickup truck wasn't working and so when he tried to straighten out his truck after making a 180 on the road, he couldn't steer it back to center fast enough before his truck went over the side!

Well, it was sort of like this... the guy appeared to be a middle-aged contractor who had extension ladders attached to the rack above his pickup truck box and when his truck rolled over, all the stuff inside the box went flying out and the truck landed on top of his ladders which were still attached to the stowage rack!
It was a Friday afternoon and it appeared that he was on his way home after a day of working and drinking on the job!

I'm actually on the top floor of a 6-story condo building, so any Romeo who wants to lure me out my bedroom window to run off with him will have to show up with a fire department ladder truck, preferably with the lights all turned off...
