Plans kinda got fucked out here but it is ok
Drove 5 hours out to this city. Realized i forgot my wallet 3 hours in so i cant get in my hotel. Momma didnt raise no quitter. I take a shower and change into my good outfit at the public pool. Find parking, then go to the bar for the speed dating event i had signed up for.
I go in and its all guys. The women all last minute canceled or no-showed. The organizers issue a refund to us all. I try to get the guys to show me around the city but they wont do it. We have a nice chat and part ways. I secure an Airbnb last minute, thank God.
Night is still young so i head downtown on foot. Despite everything this place is really beautiful. Walkable big city paradise with greenery and lots of people out and about. My parking is 2 hours only but i doubt they tow me. I am getting vegan sushi now, and ive got the whole restaurant to myself.
