Highway anxiety

I been driving for almost two years now and I never been on the highway… any advice on how to get comfortable? Thinking about doing maybe highway helper lessons to make me feel more confident about doing so

I’ve had my license for fourteen years and the first ten years of it, I rarely if ever went on the highway. Then I got a job that required me to, and now I don’t even think about it anymore. It gets easier by doing.

Just trust yourself and what you’ve learned about driving. Don’t be polite, be predictable. Don’t text and drive. And use your turn signals, please.

I had the same fears of merging onto the interstate.. country highways don't bother me so much..
If there are lessons to be had take them, then practice highway driving during off hours when hopefully there’s less traffic. The more practice you have, the more comfortable you’ll get.
What bothers you?
