How do you explain this

Right after my Mom died years ago, I was a passenger with my friend driving. Her kids were in the back seat. We came up over a hill and was in our lane. When another car came up the other side 1/2 in our lane. We were shocked and it happened so fast. Before we knew, the driver had passed, and we just stared at each other. How on earth did we not crash into the other car. We watched it all. Till this day we can't explain it. We both knew it was my Mom protecting us and the kids. Mom loved those kids.
I think it was God protecting you.

Years ago I was riding with a good friend to a concert. I was rolling a joint and we came up really fast on a car ahead of us. My buddy whipped the car into the oncoming lane without hesitation and we got around the car. If there had been a car heading in the other direction we’d both be dead. We laughed, we were young and immortal. A year later he died in a car wreck on the way to the beach

@JohnnyNoir well it was a happy start to the story. I'm sorry sorry. I'm sure that was rough on you.

Dead people don’t protect people. Your mother is either in Heaven with Jesus, resting, or in Hell, depending on what she did with the free gift of salvation.

The notion that our loved ones “watch over us” is childish and we need to move past that as a society.

@SW-User ill think what I want ..that's your opinion.

@melissa001 It’s not an opinion. Keep lying to yourself, all delusions will fall short. I’m trying to wake you up from the sweet lies you’ve been told so you can mature in the faith you claim to have in Jesus. Guard your heart with the word of God so you stop believing all this nonsense pumped into you by cultural Christianity

This is why I ride the shoulder line. If someone is being stupid, I still have room to move over so my only car doesn't get demolished. My insurance won't cover it since I only pay for limited tort. I can't afford full coverage.

But the car is a 2000, so yeah
