You're excited when you start and if you have a good instructor you'll find you do more driving than you thought you would.
And then you get back and in the calmness afterwards, your adrenalin drops and you realize you've just had control of a vehicle but didn't hit anything and both you and instructor survived and you wonder how other people do it.

That's awesome. Try some breathing excercises when you feel like that. Double inhale from your nose, hold for 5 seconds and exhale from your mouth over 5 secs. Do that a few times and you'll feel the difference.
