I Love Driving Nude

A seventy something degree Fall night
the leaves began to descend from the trees
almost as if on que with the season
my clothes began slide off my body
and hit the leaf covered ground with a gentle flop.
I drop into my car
the windows rolled down
the Fall air against my body with its chilled touch
until I reached home.

I did that just last night. Had to run to the store at 0230. Coming out, there were only a couple of cars in the parking lot and the night was gorgeous, so I dropped my jogging pants and t shirt and drove home nude. It was grand. Walked from the lot to the apartment carrying my clothes. Didn't see anyone except a woman at one stop light who kept looking down into my car until the light changed and she turned.
