Will a car be ok to drive with clicking noise near steering wheel?

I had a tiny knock noise inside my steering wheel a couple weeks ago. Haven't heard it again but last night while turning left the area near the directional or steering wheel began clicking several times. Is it something that needs attention right away , anyone know? Or do you think it'll be ok to drive today or a few days if it did it again?

A clicking noise from your steering wheel can be caused by several issues, such as a faulty CV joint, low power steering fluid, or a loose steering wheel nut. It's advisable to have a mechanic inspect it to determine the exact cause and prevent further damage.

@Confined thanks...if it continues I'll definitely have it checked out but it should be ok to drive for a little bit, given it just happened Yesterday, once?
