@Onestarlitnight was right, it's a Studebaker Speedster. In the pic you can see it written in cursive next to the Studebaker logo on the chrome strip
@ChiefJustWalks
When I saw the rear roofline and the thick chrome trim I suspected it was a Studebaker so I looked it up and sure enough it was the 55 speedster

@ChiefJustWalks You got it Chief. And definitely a 55. I resubmitted my reply. The trim lines are very close but you pointed out the Speedster stamping I didn't notice.

@Onestarlitnight yeah the interior matches too 👌 they're such a unique brand. I went to car show last year that had a ton of Studebakers. Before that, I'd never really seen them in person lol

I’ve always admired the company, they were ahead of their time in styling. Their cars were sleek and compact compared to their contemporary rivals.

@Onestarlitnight yeah I agree, I'm gonna look up some videos about them actually because I should learn more. I saw this bagged Studebaker Wagonaire & I frickin' loved it. It had this cool/weird slide away roof on the back 😅

@Gibbon I had to zoom in to even read the stamp lol

@Onestarlitnight They were also ahead of the big 3 in the development of horse power with the Avanti and Lark. If it weren't for the intra company purchases and bickering they might have survived long enough to actually compete in the muscle car wars. A rare supercharged Lark is worth a fortune today.
