Okay car people, please help me out...

I'm trying to buy a used car. So far I've narrowed my choices down to a 2015 Acura TLX (18k miles) and a 2023 Nissan Sentra S (8k miles). Both are in the same price range. At first glance, the Nissan seems to be a better option, but all the people I've talked to recommended me to get Acura over Nissan any day. Why is that? And also, which one should I choose? Please enlighten me. 😢

Get in them and go for a drive. I've had cars I wanted until I sat in them and found out they don't fit, whether seats, head space, windshield view etc.

Also for a test drive take a mechanic friend along if you can that'll notice things you're unaware of, even if you're a mechanic yourself you might have an unclear view of what you're looking at.

As to everyone saying the Acura(yes Honda has a better track record for reliability)is more reliable why are they getting rid of such a low mileage car?

@Justafantasy I suppose the previous owner just had a much fancier car and decided to get rid of the Acura. Thanks for the advice! I’ll definitely do a test drive.
