Okay car people, please help me out...

I'm trying to buy a used car. So far I've narrowed my choices down to a 2015 Acura TLX (18k miles) and a 2023 Nissan Sentra S (8k miles). Both are in the same price range. At first glance, the Nissan seems to be a better option, but all the people I've talked to recommended me to get Acura over Nissan any day. Why is that? And also, which one should I choose? Please enlighten me. 😢

The transmission on the Nissan if its an automatic has an incredibly high failure rate. And are incredibly expensive to replace only to have it fail again. Although Acura/Honda has had problems with their CVT automatic transmissions too. I'd still recommend the Acura.

@LiLShrimp There is a recall for the wiring harness on the transmission in some of those Acuras. Ask the dealer or whoever is selling it if it's been repaired or if it is one of the Acuras affected
