@Pretzel I bought mine in California, so it had the California emissions package (ugh). But through Nevada that spring of 1976, I enjoyed redlining the tachometer in Drive; and saw 106mph on the tachometer. Plus it handled wonderfully. I could do bootleg turns (a la "Dukes of Hazzard") because of the quickness of the rack and pinion steering and the handbrake being exactly that. Handbrake. :D
I know what you mean they're ugly, I always wanted a 69 or 70 mustang but could never afford one, when I turned 53 I was able to afford a 09 GT500 two years later I bought an 08 Gt350, I guess sometimes we just have to wait.
@BrewCityBarfly bro seriously i love my fox body. Same drag coefficient as the original gt40. And the fox body is the vehicle to have efi. Now if you said the mustang II that i would agree with.
It reminds me of a Maserati SUV. I think it will retail for around $70,000 US I think it will have a big market. Older women seem to love the current Mustang.
@Strict4u ah yes the golden age of the ponny car and muscle car when they the competition of the camaro fire bird challenger and cuda charger torino chevelle Bonneville GTO le camino baracuda and many others for the muscle cars ripped from stop light to stop light. honestly my favorite era in automotive history. When the cars burt rubber and dyno juice while the driver laughed at the world in the rear view mirror while the v8 under the hood roared for more.
