I just saw a modern ford mustang and...

I'm not a big car girl, but damn that thing is ugly as sin. Looks like a budget hatchback. No soul at all. Friend I was driving with pointed one out (it was white) and I didn't believe him until we drove close enough.

@Pretzel I bought mine in California, so it had the California emissions package (ugh). But through Nevada that spring of 1976, I enjoyed redlining the tachometer in Drive; and saw 106mph on the tachometer. Plus it handled wonderfully. I could do bootleg turns (a la "Dukes of Hazzard") because of the quickness of the rack and pinion steering and the handbrake being exactly that. Handbrake. :D

But yes, it was nowhere near a real 'Stang.
