And now the fun begins

Extended warranty doesn't want to cover the cost to fix the box truck again. Dealership says it's a Ford issue, Ford says it's on the dealership. Told the dealership to figure it out or they'd be receiving a bill for attorney fees.. now what can I haul in their truck today

@MarineBob whoever sold you the extended warranty is responsible. Engines don’t just lock up. It’s either a maintenance or manufacturer issue. The engine must be inspected and diagnosed.

@Driver2 GM sold me the policy, Ford dealership just replaced the engine and transmission a few months ago

@MarineBob is it a factory or aftermarket engine ?

@MarineBob they almost never have a problem, they have to know what broke .

@Driver2 those engines take longer to get in than the installation takes. I can see the dealers point of not wanting to bring one in or get started until they know where the money is coming from

@MarineBob well they must have a reason it locked up . Without knowing what happened you won’t know who is paying.

@Driver2 but no one wants to turn a wrench for free. Common sense says insurance should pay and investigate it then let others pay or chip in

@MarineBob the warranty company has to do something it makes no sense
