Modern cars are a pain in the @ss!! I suspect a short is screwing around with the ECM. 🤔 No codes, and everything is fine when tested individually.

This car locks the doors randomly, and once in a while the stereo turns on with the ignition. Every sensor on the engine has been replaced about 5 times, resulting in the most recent parts having watermarks and documented proof that they came from Bosch, NGK, or the manufacturer... new injectors too. Runs like crap no matter what!!
I even performed some fantastic wizardry and had an endoscope in the intake manifold so I could see the injectors work!! 🤓😎
I really don't feel like taking the dash out of this thing.

@turbineman40 It's not mine, I'd trash this thing in a heartbeat. It belongs to a close friend's parents and they have always done nice things for me. Plus, they are older and one of them has failing health. 🤷‍♂️
It's just one of those things you do because it's necessary.😊

@Lilnonames Both checked and new batteries. I don't think anyone else has noticed that the doors lock themselves when no one is around. It's been sitting in my drive for a week so I've had a chance to see it acting possessed when it thinks it's alone.😈😆

@UnderLockDown my zoom zoom does this as well and i have no fob. But the key never worked as its a chevy key only in ignition. And about every 3 monthes the horn starts blowing then one winter i wasnt thinking and used key in trunk and it ooened then i tried doors it now works but doorlocks dont lol

@Lilnonames I've seen a few that had the insulation smashed from the factory wrap. Cleaning stuff like armourall was building up in the wiring harness behind the gauge cluster and the insulation became soft and the wrap squeezed all the wires together. ⚡⚡
