@Jeephikelove I was dating a girl whose dad was a VW used car dealer. When Herbie first came out in a downtown movie theater, as part of a nation-wide promotion for the film, he loaned me a white VW bug with magnetized number "53". I took his daughter to the premiere of the movie and parked in the "no parking" zone in front of the theater. We were mobbed by fans who thought we were the actors from the film.

@eyeno It looked like a hunk 'o junk but it could shift!

@Wol62 hehe..., a movie that depicted the times, muscle cars, cruising, drive-ins, girls, etc., and most of all the feeling of freedom that a car would give for those fortunate enough to own one at the time... Ooh for the days.
That was the first one comes to mind. Also every vehicle in cannonball run. The general Lee in dukes of Hazzard. Eleanor in gone in 60 seconds.

Eleanor from Gone In Sixty Seconds

Probably my favourite car.
@basilfawlty89 I second that. I was in love when it 1st appeared on the screen.

A favorite.
Several come to mind. The Dodge Charger in Dukes of Hazard. The Batmobile which was a 1939 Cadillac Series 75 convertible. And Grand Turino in the movie (1972 car).
