@MntoNc KBB doesn’t cut checks. I mean real trade value. A dealer isn’t going to pay you more than they can go to an auction and buy one for that’s in equal or better condition or with lower miles.
Plus, older cars with over 100k miles are really deemed to be in “Fair” condition vs good or better…. That puts the Accord between $9-11k on KBB. Don’t let the adjectives they use confuse you. It’s all which buttons you push. A dealer spending $13k has to flip the car for a profit. For that much cash, they’ll want lower miles or a lower price.
If you get $12k you’ve done well. As a trade, you’ll also pay less in state taxes if you trade it in vs selling it in your own.

With the new tires and in good condition (no dents/accidents/rust/bumper damage), it’s probably worth $12k as a high.

@MntoNc Yeah, I would go with an Acura or a Lexus over a Mercedes or BMW.

@MntoNc 13K is pretty good. Hondas hold their value pretty well.
