Maybe I shouldn't have gotten a prius

So I'm getting a company car

Which means I won't be driving my prius that much anymore, and Priuses don't do so well when you don't drive them often. Should I sell it and buy something cheaper (or not even buy a car at all) or keep it?

All cars need to be driven fairly regularly, or put on a battery charger. Company cars tend to be a management fad du jour, depending upon what the MBA journals are saying about cost effectiveness. When my son had his taken away during one of the periods of cutting back on them in his company he actually bought his first Prius and made money because it cost less to run than the mileage the company now paid him for using his own car. You sometimes wonder what drives the MBA's fads du jour. And how long they will last.

Keep it. Drive it once a week.

I would never buy a Prius
