Have you ever sold a car to a junkyard/auto wrecker?

I sold my old '99 Toyota Camry to a junkyard 8 months ago, because someone stole the catalytic converter from it. No way was I going spend money on a brand new cat for a 22 year old vehicle.

Yes a few times within the family... my son's first car.. it was incredibly sad.. others too.. sad, sad, sad.. feels somehow wrong..

I gave some obsolete vehicles to the cancer society instead of directly selling them.
