At what age should people give up driving?

It's funny you ask this, my mother in law is almost blind and she still has her driving licence.. She's getting injections in her eyeballs every 6 weeks to preserve what sight she has... And my father in law said last week that she should get out driving again 😢

She can't see the faces of her grandkids. BTW
