mmmm... I don't know. Some elderly people can drive better than a lot of the younger ones now a days. It shouldn't be based on age at all in my opinion. Driving skills vary from person to person whether they're 50 or 99 years old. Now, my grandmother on my mom's side.. she shouldn't be driving at all with her having signs of dementia and other things, but I wouldn't say one should stop driving just because they've reached a certain age.
