Would you rather have a full size spare wheel/tyre, a 'space saver', or none at all (just some tyre goop)?
BYD don't supply any spare with their ev's just tyre goop. How long does the goop last before it's no good?
I have full-size spare wheels/tyres for all my vehicles (Saab cars and my 4wd) and do full 5-wheel tyre rotation schedules to spread out wear and maximise tyre life.
My 4wd has a full-size spare.
How comfortable/confident would you be with no spare at all? What do you do if you blow a tyre?
Most people here in Oz don't subscribe to road service because of cost, and most people tend to go longer than 5 yrs before replacing tyres. Just out of necessity.
