It’s always worth having a little tool kit if you rely on your bike a lot…
With a loose chain, it could be that you need to slide the back wheel back a little bit, as others have already said.
There are literally loads of videos on YouTube about these things, so have a look on there and you’ll soon learn exactly what to do. None of it is really that hard once you’ve seen how to do it 👍🏻
