My chain keeps slipping off

Is it something I can fix myself or should I just take it to a cycling shop? Do I need to take a link out?

if ou have a 10 speed or more it might be a matter of adjusting the deraileur (not sure if I spelled that right or not).

there are a bunch of youtube videos on it and it just takes a screwdriver if I remember correctly.
