I had a 82 Charger just like this, only white. Charger in name only, what a POS . 4 cylinder 4 speed . clutch went, gas tank leaked, steering was shaky ,,,,,but I LOVED IT., lol
I had to park on a hill to start it when the starter went

In 1990, I got my first used car - a 1980 Dodge Colt. It was a POS! Lol

I’m a Honda girl. I’m on my 5th Honda now. 😌

Friend of mine had one of those. Worse turning radius of anything I ever drove.

Worst vehicle I ever had was a 2000 GMC Sonoma 4X4. Nice driving truck when something wasn't broken. Had the infamous seat back levers that broke off. Absolutely ate locking hubs and bearings.
Ford F-150, what a piece of junk that was. Never again.

I can't really complain about any of my cars. I've had a lot of Trans Am and Camaros. Now i have a Jeep.

@lissah That's what I drive, a wrangler

Most of my cars were fairly reliable even when I could afford only very much "pre-loved" ones. Well, nothing much has changed there.

However I was able to carry out most of the servicing and relatively minor repairs such as cylinder-head overhauls and brake-shoe replacing. Yes, that long ago. (Early 1970s.)

My most disastrous were a Series 2 Landrover whose chassis proved rusted through. (I found the previous owner had been stupid enough to use it for launching a boat, perhaps from a beach). A second Landrover's Diesel engine seized and wrecked itself and surrounding components, comprehensively; and a small Citroen hatchback did similarly.

The Citreon's fault was traced to the oil-pressure sensor's phenolic-resin moulding fracturing so the oil was all pumped out of the engine. I never worked out what had happened in the Landrover engine; but the results were, ummm, spectacular.

My first car was a Bond 'Minicar' 3-wheeler with a heavy, overhung starter-motor/dynamo rotor on the end of the crankshaft. Well, it was on the end until one night some distance from home, the shaft fractured where it entered the rotor.
Total piece of shit Pontiac Sunbird. Broke down constantly. Stranded my ass on the highway more times than I can count. Hated that thing. Wish I could go back in time and pack it full of dynamite 💥

A Ford galaxy. The fuel lines kept blocking on it and it would show a light "Engine malfunction" and just randomly cut out. But I LOVE my electric car, gets charged by the sun via my solar panels so it doesn't cost me much to run x

I've been pretty lucky with cars. I keep them well-maintained. I think my '93 Z-28 was the worst car. It ran hot, the T-roof leaked, radio sucked.

My Cadillac SRX or Chrysler LeBaron convertible. Both looked great. The Cadillac started shutting down while I was driving it 😑 I think it was saying system shutdown and off it went. Then it needed a timing chain which was almost the cost it was worth and you needed special tools only Cadillac had. Even to change a light a special tool was needed that only they had. It was so ridiculous!
The LeBaron was the later model and paint was perfect and they agreed to get me a brand new top of my choice(I worked there). It had every leak possible, it was horrible. I traded it in fast. The mechanics weren’t happy they sold me it and told me they’d handle it and they did 😬

That sounds more just in need of restoration than anything endemic to the car itself.
