I think it's time my father gave up driving 🥺

His driving has got worse in the last few years (he's 73). He's had two accidents and twice I've noticed scrapes on the car and he didn't seem to know how they happened. He often takes the wrong turn on familiar routes and he crunches his way through the gears 😮.

The lord gave me a warning and at 72 I gave up driving and gave away my car.

Nobody is as bad of a driver then my grandmother was. The police wouldn't even bother to pull her over. They stop my grandfather and told him to ask her to slow down. I think she was a a NASCAR driver in another life

My father is in his 90s and still drives but has issues with basic defensive driving yet he enjoys his independence. Sorry to hear about your father, hope things get better for him

Hard for people to give up independence but hopefully he will understand.
