Anyone else don't drive?

Now I do have a car I just haven't drove it in a few months because I can't afford to drive it

I ceased to drive when I realised that my eyes were not good enough.
After cataract operations I can see very clearly now, but I am not keen on applying for a licence and being tested.
And I am accustomed to not driving now.

@emmasfriend you probably live in an area where you can get around with public transportation.

@samueltyler2
There is a local but infrequent bus service.
If I wish to go further, I take the bus to the railway station in the nearest town about 5 miles away

@emmasfriend that is better than we have. We have no local bus, we have to drive or uber to the train to get to any other neighboring communities. We can get a train into mid-town Manhattan though from our train station.

@samueltyler2 @samueltyler2
For me, it is the London / Portsmouth line
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
@emmasfriend Do you have a straight trip into London and Portsmouth? How long would it take to get to London from your home?
emmasfriend · 46-50, F
@samueltyler2
20 minutes on the bus, wait for next train [2 per hour] then 50 minutes to central London

@emmasfriend Our train ride is about the same to get to Manhattan to the theater.
