Hearing clicking in/near steering wheel?

So I've heard a tiny bolt like knocking noise twice two weeks ago and have been gauging it, in center of steering wheel. A week has gone by and no noise. Now tonight, as I was turning the wheel slowly , taking a left, I heard several little clicks , not from in the center of the wheel, but it sounds like almost near the directional . Anyone know if Is it safe to drive about a half hour tomorrow? I'll probably need to call the mechanic Monday but I am due to a chiropractor tomorrow. Is it ok for a few days, or not good to drive?

On Reddit there are a few subs where you can upload video for evaluation--I think it's called Ask Mechanics or something. And while some comments are silly, there usually are some useful suggestions. Trying to describe an intermittent problem is an issue in and of itself; trying to do so verbally is nearly impossible. The only other thing I can suggest is to troubleshoot as best as you can. Does ths sound only happen when the car is cold? warm? on an incline? You see what I mean.
