Heart broken

I was in a car accident the end of Sept. The guy rear ended me going 70. I didnt have as much damage so i thought maybe my car was fixable. My windows were even still intact i was even able to open my trunk. Just found out today that my car is totaled. Apparently i was hit with such force that half my frame is shattered all the way up to the back seats. The guys said hes never seen anything this bad. Now im stuck in this crappy rental and have to look for a new car. What is a good suv replacement that will not cost an arm and a leg? I literally cried on the phone. This is my favorite vehicle. Its the only one I've ever found with a camera on the passenger side mirror. And i have to find a dr to re eval me. My back pain has gotten worse. I think the ER should have at least gave me scan but they didnt.

I'm so sorry to hear of your accident. You should definitely get reevaluated by another doctor. You got hit hard, there's no doubt about that. My advice is to consider the same vehicle again, seeing as you liked it so much.

@Sapio i would but only the 2015 model has the side camera. And haven't found one with less than 80k miles on it. I got lucky with mine. Bought it with 32k miles on it. In 5 yrs, i put over 120k miles on it.

@IceQueen88 80 kmiles isn't much for a modern car. Isn't much for any good car built in the last sixty years really. Or are US ICE vehicles so much worse than European ones? My 1965 Volvo Amazon that I scrapped in 1984 at 350 kMiles was in perfect working order despite the previous owner rallying it, we just wanted a more modern and more comfortable car. So we bought a 1976 Volvo 245DL with a 120 kmiles on the clock that we kept for twelve years and added another 130 kmiles.

I now have a 2015 Tesla S that has done nearly 150 kmiles and seems to be in near perfect condition. The battery did fail though but that was inside the warranty period so it was replaced at no cost.
