How long have you had your current car? Did COVID have an affect on how long you owned it? When do you think you are due for an upgrade?

I first saved it from the junk yard in 1985, my senior year in highschool and been driving her almost everyday since. Few down times here and there for rebuilds and repairs.
But been pretty much on the road since then.
It's a 1971 AMC J20 truck it had 4 engine rebuilds, 2 engines replaced, transmission rebuilt and swapped out about just as much as engine I supossed. Redone the front and rear differentials a few times to. Shit just wears out.
Took body off the frame welded that up and stacked another frame on top to add strength.
Yes the truck is ugly and its manual transmission. Plus the org keys never worked in it. (Never had any) the cigarette lighter is the push button start.

I never junk a car or truck unless there is nothing left of it. I try to keep things on the road for as long as I can
