Are car lights too bright?

It annoys me every day when I am driving in the dark, that so many cars have far too bright lights. They almost blind me. What about you?

It doesn’t help that there are so many taller, SUVs and pickup trucks on the road and their headlights are aimed right at my face, as I drive a lower sedan

@Ghostinthemachine yes, exactly. And when they drive behind you they blind you through the mirror.
