What a traffic nightmare, happened in Atlanta years ago when Interstate 85 collapsed due to a fire underneath caused by a homeless camp. Completed in 44 days. Good luck Philadelphia, with all those unions up there, gosh, bet it will take years to rebuild.

@Jimthere4fun that section of 95 is almost center city. one of the busiest roadways in the NorthEast. will b closed for a long time until they rebuild
@saragoodtimes same here the part of 85 was about a mile and a half from city center, in that photo above you can see the city of Atlanta.

It caused so many headaches for commutes here. Good thing was we had the Atlanta by pass highway that people could take around. I 95 is a major interstate for travel to northern states, what a mess

@Jimthere4fun I don't see where using union labor will slow down anything. The union guys I've worked with are very good at what they do. If they can get the steel, 60 days, Labor Day latest.

Bet you a cheesesteak, Yo!
@GerOttman hopefully so!

@Jimthere4fun oh the full rebuild will take a year or so, but the road is open again in just about 2 weeks time. score one for union labor! Don't even want to think about the overtime bill...
